McColl Architects

McColl Architects is an innovative architecture and interior design studio headed by Colin McColl, based in Aberdeen, Scotland.

Previously as a director of AJMK Architects in London. He established the practice at the beginning of 2005.

The philosophy of the practice is to approach each project without a pre conception of what best fits. The site and the clients brief inform our approach. This ensures that the solution is bespoke, relates to all site conditions and is tailored to the clients needs.

As architects, we take care in our choice of materials and detailing of the project to enrich the experience of the building for the user and fully exploit the inherent qualities of each material, enabling the building to respond to the basic human needs, a sense of place and time.

We produce buildings of the highest quality that respond to their environment. The range of work completed and ongoing by the practice director includes residential, commercial, retail, leisure and transport.
