Aberdeenshire 2009
McColl Architects have been commissioned to carry out extensive rennovations to an existing fishermans cottage in the Broadsea conservation area of Fraserburgh.
The client wanted a contemporary, but Scottish, finish that respected the surroundings but provided a modern space for their family.
The site has incredible views over the North Sea and McColl Architects proposal provides a new living room and master bedroom extension to take full advantage of the ever changing view.
The house is finished in a simple palette of render, timber and powder coated window frames.
Currently due to be submitted for planning with construction to commence in Spring 2010.
