Aberdeen 2008
Speculative development on an urban infill site in the centre of Aberdeen.
This mixed use proposal can provide a split of commercial and residential space dependant on market conditions and the end users requirements.
By carefully modelling the massing of the property and attention to the layout of the fenestration the scheme maximises its footprint on site without causing excessive shadowing or overlooking to neighbouring properties.
These design moves, with a reduced palatte of materials, seeks to reinterpret the Aberdonian terrace in a contemporary idiom.
