Our entry for Europan 10, looking to stitch back together a fishing town on the very North Eastern boundary between Norway and Russia.
The proposal unifies the existing street scape with a phased series of folding surfaces of stone and timber
These act as wayfinding devices around the harbour area and link visitors and locals between the newly proposed pool, aquarium and commercial district.
At the heart of the scheme is a new public square and pedestrian footbridge, providing better access to the cruise liner dock, tourist information office and the main hotel in the town.
